We're back in gear for Fall after our Summer Theme. We're bringing new striking stand-up game to our MMA and continuing to refine our Ground 'n' Pound. Plus check out upcoming self defense events in Edmonton.
Head Coach Calen in the Ecuador jungle at the Los Armadillos hummingbird restaurant, in-between instructor training.
Quito, Ecuador
I spent one great week in Quito, Ecuador in August. I was training volunteers from Idealist.org Ecuador in REAL Self Defense.
They rocked out in training and are already offering their first seminar this month. No doubt they will do a fine job bringing this much-needed training to their community. You can check out some of the photos on Facebook.
Fall is Here!
Ground 'n' Pound Summer has come to an end. I saw everyone's fundamental positional dominance go up a level. This laid the foundation for Ground 'n' Pound to become second-nature for the students' grappling game.
We are starting a new MMA striking stand-up game, plus we'll be continuing to further refine our Ground 'n' Pound game!
